When I talk with my clients about starting a blog, the most common question I hear is "how I can find enough things to say?" I used to share that concern until I started spending lots of time reading other bloggers in my industry. Now I never lack for new topics to blog about - I comment or build on other people's posts, take issue with them, bring their ideas to my readers' attention, and feel informed about trends in the business so I can respond intelligently to comments. I tell my clients now that reading other bloggers is the best cure for a marketing mindset that's stuck in the old approach of 1-way promotional thinking. Blog outreach gets you engaged in your industry's critical discussions and adds depth to the rest of your marketing efforts!

Reading fellow bloggers should be developed as habit and I am in full consonance with your views.Connecting with others and communicating positively is key to proficient blogging practices.Cindy is right when she says,"Blog outreach gets you engaged in your industry's critical discussions and adds depth to the rest of your marketing efforts!".
It takes time and patience to build reputation online and building trust among fellow bloggers will certainly take one to the higher grounds.Visibility enhancement is an obvious result of connecting with others.Blogging always creates more opportunities provided it is understood properly as an effective tool for business promotion.
I enjoyed reading this long illustration.

I don't know how many times I have started out on a blog, with great intentions of building up readership and making it one of the great blogs that everyone wants to read....but after a few posts, with no one posting comments or droppping by, I have just left it to die. I have been looking for ways to increase readership and to keep interest going in my blogs - and found your post. You have some great tips and information that I will be putting into practice over the next few weeks - as I try to rebuild a blog I had kind of neglected. Thanks - now I am off to read through more of your blog!

Many bloggers consider themselves to know the strategy to attract the people, but after reading your article, I think, they would have change their minds.

I've heard this tip many times before and do follow blogs of others consistently and comment only if it returns my URL. If there was a second critical tip what it would be?

I have been also a user of technorati but the problem is the number of visitors in my blog did not increase.

You definitely bring up some great advice on how to create a community on your blog. One of the challenges as a blogger is that you get that feeling you are all alone bringing traffic to your site. That does not need to be the case, when you partner up with other people. Some of my greatest partners have been competitors. Now, I do not fear them, but look for opportunities to connect with them.

how to increase the number of visitors in my site. its seems to be a big burden in my work.

Excellent article. Thank you for the link to Technorati. I had not heard of them before. I am not a proud card-carrying member. :-)
