In a nutshell, what success did you have as a result of your blog/social media?
Building stronger relationships locally and nationally through blogging and being able to gain more brand awareness as a result and ultimately increased sales. This is what it is all about!
What was the obstacle that you were facing in your business?
Midwest Laboratories is still a big secret. A lot of people have no idea of all the different types of testing we do and the vast array of different clients we serve.
What did you find as a result of using a blog/social media?
More people are becoming more aware of our company and the services we provide. I am also able to use it as a Public Relations Channel to broadcast special happenings at Midwest Laboratories.
What specific feature do you like most blogging/social media?
Instant gratification and instant word-of-mouth.
What other benefits did you experience from blogging/social media?
Makes the world a lot smaller when you can conduct business with companies in the United States and United Kingdom.
Is there anything you’d like to add?
These tools along with traditional marketing make for a very powerful approach for small companies like ourselves to connect with others BtoB and BtoC on an equal basis.
