In a nutshell, what success did you have as a result of your blog/social media?
My success is really my clients' success. By using the #WellnessChallenge and #WellnessJournal hashtags, I have hundreds of people who are taking on my daily challenge (#WellnessChallenge) and telling me about their success (#WellnessJournal).
What was the obstacle that you were facing in your business?
Connecting with people who are hungry for change and then inspiring and motivating them to do so.
What did you find as a result of using a blog/social media?
Specifically, I use Twitter and have found that you can touch a lot of people on a frequent basis. It really works in a society where our attention spans are shrinking.
What specific feature do you like most blogging/social media?
It's interactive. I can really get to know people quickly, understand if they are a real prospect and then help them if they are open and willing.
What other benefits did you experience from blogging/social media?
Personal fulfillment, big time. It is also a great outlet for my creativity.
Is there anything you’d like to add?
Social media is the foundation of my business and is allowing me to grow and scale quickly.

I love these Friday stories...I'm picking up good tidbits in every one. One follow up question on this one, though: did he tell you how he gained awareness for his hashtags that he's using? I'm curious as to how he got the word out about them.

I like his point about connecting with people as one of the biggest obstacles. I think he managed to overcome this though by being persistent and showing genuine desire to help, which are good ways to establish that important connection.

By using them over and over again, my Tweeps began to grasp the concept. In addition, I wrote an article about it on my blog: http://bit.ly/bZCIR8
