I've been using Feedblitz to deliver my blog posts to subscribers since 2005. In the beginning, it's was simple: you could subscribe to an RSS feed and get the updates delivered by email rather than an RSS reader, if you knew what that was.
Fast forward 5 years and Phill Hollows, the CEO of Feedblitz, has really amped it up and seems to be adding new social tools to Feedblitz every week.
This week, Phil announced that you can syndicate your blog feed to your LinkedIn status update. Nothing revolutionary about that. Hootsuite does it, among others. BUT, the difference I see is that included with the update via Feedblitz is a link to SUBSCRIBE to your blog!
That one feature, that one link, can potentially drive more traffic and visitors to you blog.
Make sure you have a compelling title and first paragraph and it's a safe bet that you'll get click throughs and new blog subscribers.
Feedblitz is not free (nor is aWeber), yet you can get a free trial and give all the cool features a test drive - try before you buy. I think it's worth it. And Phil Hollows is a really nice guy and his team is responsive if you need help.
Stay tuned for a guest post from Phil Hollows coming up in the next couple of weeks while I'm away. He's going to share why you need to integrate the Facebook Like button into your blog's email updates.
Subscribe to get Build a Better Blog updates and don't miss a single guest post!

Hi, Denise,
I'm so glad to read about this in your blog. I just started using Feedblitz a few weeks ago and so far, so good! The social sharing feature is a terrific idea -- I can't wait to take advantage of this. I really like the tie in to LinkedIn and back to the blog. Smooth!
