In my daily conversations and email exchanges with clients and potential clients, the issue of time always crops up (as I've noted in many previous posts). I'll spare you the "make time!" rant. If you want to watch the video, it's here.
Creating visibility for your business requires consistent, constant effort. Whether it's you or a VA or a combination of both, you've got to be publishing content as frequently as possible and connecting with people in your community on a regular basis.
You need a Visibility Action Plan. A few months ago I put together a sample visibility schedule for students in a program I was teaching. I also share it with clients and new students as a guide to demonstrating how you can proactively build your online platform by focusing on frequency and consistency across sites to build your visibility.
If you're struggling with how to manage your time and build your online visibility, as my gift to you today, I'm giving you this sample visibility plan so you can get on the right track.
Download Sample Online Visibility Schedule (Right click on link to save to your computer.)
This schedule shows you what to do with a minimal time commitment of 1 hour a day or 5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. That's not a lot of time to devote to your online marketing. Keep in mind, more time invested is always better and will get you better results. However, this is a great start.
Do you have an online visibility plan? If so, what does it look like and what kind of results is it generating for you?

I just happened to come across your blog. Nice posts. I like this one very much. They are more content oriented than the usual ones you find these days. And the best part is the simplicity in your posts and the language you use in them. I have added you to my favorites. And I will continue to pay frequent visits to your blog. Expecting more such quality stuff from you. Carry on

Great suggestions, Denise!
Appreciate so much your pragmatic, proactive and professional approach to blogging. There are so many brilliant people in the world, with fascinating stories to tell and genuine value to contribute to the greater good, desperately struggling to learn how to spread their message in today's fast-paced world.
As a writer and professional speaker myself, I am constantly on the prowl for high calibre resources to maximize business success. And, as an attorney and former judge, my due diligence is definitely daunting: demand the best, no time for less! Your style definitely delivers!
Thanks for your contribution in teaching those who are ready how to capture their message in a meaningful way that can help not only propel their business, but enrich their life purpose. Enjoyed getting to spend time with you at NAMS, and look forward to more in the future.
Well Done!

It's an indisputable fact that regular visibility is important, and the more often you publish, the better. For SEO, that is.
The sad thing is that the present trend in social media seems to prefer quantity over quality---noise over substance, if you will, despite loud cries to the contrary.
Look at it statistically. It's been said that in 2009 alone, humankind produced more content than in its entire history before that. Every one of us knows the approximate percentage of crap that the content we encounter includes. Now, increase the amount of content, and the amount of crap will increase. I'm afraid the increase won't even be linear, because the number of people publishing content is growing all the time, and the amount of mediocrity remaining constant, the proportion of crap will only increase.
Pessimistic, perhaps, but judging by the content behind links in my Twitter feed and RSS reader, I don't think I'm too wide of the mark.
