Recently I was working on an article for Social Media Examiner about where to find content for your business blog. This is a question that comes up frequently. This week I was interviewed about blogging, taught a private class for members of Online Visibility Secrets and then taught another class on business blogging for Social Media Magic University and the content question popped up every time.
While I cannot share the article since it hasn't been published yet on Social Media Examiner, I can share one tip and a couple of links to other articles that can help you out.
My tip for today is: Ask your community for inspiration. Ask a question on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn and you'll get enough content for a series of posts! I put the question out to my followers and friends - where do you find inspiration for your blog posts - and here's what I got on twitter in a matter of few minutes:
So there you go...some more ideas!
Blogger Link Up, which I wrote about in May, can also help solve the content problem by putting you together with guest bloggers. I've used the service with success on my personal blog.
Finally, check out this post by Mike Consol about how to find topics for your blog. He's got some good ideas about getting inspiration from top corporate blogs.
Now go blog on!

Pretty cool post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really liked reading your blog. Thanks a lot for sharing such an informative and interesting post with us. Keep blogging.

Good one. Yes! good content is what holds viewer attention. To be a good writer, its important to read and observe.
I participate in internet forums and polls and this fuels some good ideas in me. Observing people and situations also makes the most mundane things newsworthy.
I also write a lot about online businesses

A blog must contain fruitful and informative ideas for the audience or the readers. You must also know your market and communicate with people to know the latest trend that will help you to put words for your business blog.

Yeah I went to a social media seminar the other day and they said the same thing. If you are struggling - ask! When you think about it it's fairly obvious.
