I take no credit for this fertile source of content ideas for your blog. As I was shutting down my computer the other night a tweet by Lynn Terry caught my eye ... she had a link to Ask.com's Top Questions of 2009.
As soon as I landed on the site I knew this was a goldmine for blog content. For example, if you have a weight loss or fitness blog, check out the #1 question: How much should I weigh?
Write blog posts about that question -- and use the exact wording of that question in your post - and you should attract a ton of traffic to your blog. Plus Ask.com identifies the top 10 fitness questions. This list could keep you quite busy with blog posts.
If you blog about parenting, celebrities, NASCAR, health, beauty, travel, technology, or personal finance you've got a ready-made list of blog post topics that should help you rank high in search engine results.
I laughed when I saw the #4 question: what is twitter? Here's the page of answers.
Lynn Terry is a savvy Internet Marketer and blogs at ClickNewz. Check out what she's up to. I'm thrilled I get to hang out with her in January at the Niche Affiliate Marketing System Workshop. I hear Lynn is one of the most popular speakers at the event.
By the way, not only are the top questions a great source for blog content, but also to generate ideas for info products, teleseminars, ebooks, videos...
How would you use the Ask.com's Top Questions of 2009?
