This is right on target. I started blogging about my webdesign company and giving valuable information out on my blog. It seems to make closing the sale a little easier because you are perceived as an expert in your field. It is like you are talking to your prospective clients before they even pick up the phone. It does not hurt that my traffic has doubled since I started writing it either.
