It's time to revisit this question. Today I was told by a blog developer that most people use RSS to read blogs. Hmmm. That's not my experience. In my experience most people still don't know what the heck RSS is and prefer to get their blog updates by email. But that got me wondering. Maybe times have changed dramatically. Maybe regular folk (not techy people) do prefer RSS. So I decided to put it out to you.
How do you prefer to subscribe to and read your favorite blogs? Please take the poll and let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Please help me get the word out so I can get a good sample of responses. Click the retweet button to share the poll with your twitter followers. Thanks!

I use both - email for my very favorites, ones I simply don't want to miss, and RSS for others that I like but am okay with missing if I don't make it to looking at my Google reader.

Wow, that is actually a close vote. I thought email would overtake RSS by a long shot, I can see why it's important, if you use only email you count out the RSS subscribers vica versa, so definitely both is one to have, I currently only have through email on my blog, I will be adding RSS, but which one do you think is the most deliverable and most effective?

I prefer email. I can't find my way back to my feed reader but I can always find my email. Plus, I can save the posts I like in a folder and delete the rest.
