I am looking at the Twitterverse and shaking my head. So much going on there, so much noise. And like a kid with a new toy, some of you are abandoning your old stand-by business blogs in favor of quick updates on Twitter.
Tsk, tsk. Put down your Twitter Toys right NOW! Here's an important post I want you to go read: 19 Reasons You Should Blog And Not Just Tweet by Adam Singer over on The Future Buzz.
Isn't it time we get back to writing meaty, useful blog content instead of just poking our heads in and retweeting something? Now, don't get me wrong, I love Twitter. But I also enjoy good business blog content that educates, entertains, and grabs me where I feel it.

Amen and Hallelujah! So glad I'm not the only one thinking this way. For me, the Twitterverse is like bad TV - so much noise you have to block it after a while. Some great information is out there - but we need a better filter for all the Tweets vs Twits.
Thanks for making this statement - made my day and surely made me feel less alone in my return to the blog!

Denise,
On the mark as usual, - and do appreciate your timely heads up! But all that twitting is really *their fault.* I am suffering from another internet malady... too much time for all the background admin things for radio, etc.
Yes, radio, twits and YouTube... will have to wait on trying your venture in to 12 sec!
Thanks,
Chuck

As usual Denise, you are spot on. Nothing replaces good content and credibilty. When I am searching for thing and people that matter, I dont go to twitter for it!
Thanks for the great info!

Denise:
Thanks for the reminder. It is so easy to get distracted with the new, bright and shiny, only to forget why I was out here to being with!
Thanks,
