That is an excellent idea!

You know, you can also use transcripts of videos from other people, not just yourself! If the video fits your niche, it's an excellent way to generate content without having to rack your brain too hard. And you can embed the video in your blog for added 'stickiness'...visitors stay on page longer, which Google likes!
