The Blog Squad is proud to announce the launch of Michael Gionta's The Recruiter Campus blog, Tips and Tactics to Growing a Better Recruiting Firm.
Gionta shares successful tips, strategies, and tactics of what he experiences running his own recruiting firm, as well as those of the clients he coaches. His posts are full of common sense advice for running any small business.
“This blog will dispel the myths of how to run a successful recruiting firm," says Mike. "Many of these myths have been around since the 1960's. While recruiting firms have added PC's to their desktops and access to national job board databases, much of the infrastructure and duties of key personnel have remained the same for over 30 years!”
Gionta writes with humor in a relaxed style that makes for an interesting read even for those not in the recruiting industry. His business lessons are applicable across a broad spectrum of small business fields. A few recent blog posts include:
- Recruiting Firm Owners: Don't Hate Me!
- Recruiting Firm Owners: Does This Make Sense?
- Recruiters: Avoid this Mistake or End Up in "Recruiter Purgatory"
- Recruiting Firm Owners: Don't Shoot the Messenger!
- Recruiters: Get Off Your "Butts"!
- Recruiting Business Plans: Why Most Fail
Michael Gionta opened his own recruiting firm 20 years ago at the age of 26. His office has ranked in the top 2 or 3% of recruiting firms and has was recognized as the 11th fastest growing IT Recruiting firm in the US.
In the last couple of years Gionta has been successfully coaching other recruiting firm owners how to manage both business and personal growth.

Other companies are licking their wounds and shutting down their campus recruiting machines, smart companies use this time to recruit at better schools than they have in the past to attract the best of the best. Because fewer companies are recruiting on campus, these smart companies know they can have their pick of the talent litter. The current economic downturn creates a vacuum of sorts where some companies absence allows you to woo the best in class.thank you for the post.
