BackType Helps You Track Blog Comments

Last week I learned about a relatively new application for bloggers...

BackType - an online application that allows you to follow and track the COMMENTS of your favorite or influential bloggers in your field.

Commenting is an important tactic for building your online presence, creating relationships with other bloggers and driving traffic back to your blog.

It's called Outreach in our CODA system.

With BackType, you set up a free account and then follow other bloggers. You see the blog posts they are commenting on as well as their comments. This gives you the opportunity to find cool new blogs and contribute to conversations you might not have known about otherwise.
