Eating healthy doesn’t have to be a chore and it certainly isn’t impossible. Keeping a good supply of fresh foods on hand, and having a crock pot handy, help make it easier to avoid packaged and frozen foods. Calories coming from refined sugars should make up no more than 10% of your total calories for the day. For a person eating 1400 calories per day that’s 140 calories or 35 grams of sugar.
