SOBCon08 kicked off tonight with a cruise on Lake Michigan. It was a boat full of bloggers. Some old friends and some new. We were entertained by Christine Kane with a set of three songs. She's a blogger too. Do you read Brian Clark's Copyblogger? If so, you'll get this:
At one point Christine was talking about blogging and said, "Brian Clark would turn (the Beatle's song) "Hey Jude" into a headline that said '12 Irrefutable Reasons Why Jude Should Listen to me'." Too funny. If you know Brian's writing and his emphasis on headlines, that is. Maybe you had to be there.
Brian wasn't in attendance tonight but he is a speaker tomorrow so I look forward to meeting him,finally, in person.
Lots of twittering going on about the event. Bloggers love to chat, comment, twit, and in general, commuicate. It's all about the relationships.
