Time!
One of the most difficult things that I find is the time to build out the content. Especially while trying to tie in the aspects that, as a person in the given business, take for granted. Getting exposure to those that don't share the syntax requires that you write with them in mind, however, it is sometimes hard to write in a manner that would get this accomplished.
The other difficulty is also related to time... proofing my work. This doesn't sound like a big thing, but when you are trying to keep your image polished, it can be challenging.

Biggest challenge for me is "bilinguality". See, i'm from Germany, and i know the rule "1 goal/target == 1 blog". I want to stay globally connected, but then have some consumers of my content that want me to blog in German. So you always end up in a scenario where you write the same entries twice.
Finding content is not that difficult. I keep a list of Blog-Ideas on my Blackberry and have a target of keeping a buffer stock of at least 20 ideas in there.
What's keeping me away from blogging the most is the numbers of blogs i need to cover personal, private and professional sphere seperately. And the addiction that's called Twitter.
I hope to solve this problem a little by switching to a macbook and OSX. It will make writing and producing multimedia content fun again. At least that's my feeling.
There's another thing: I think that writing comments on other blogs is much more important than posting to your own blog. We all blog to get social connections. Break up departmental areas. Switch from a structured orgchart world to a unstructured social world. Making new friends.
So i'm producing most content "elsewhere" and not "at home".
Publishing is only one way of Communication and... basically it really IS one-way . Writing content is not building up my reach and network. The comments do.
And on top: I love to read other weblogs.
That's how my time is spent.

My biggest challenge is getting out of my own way -- I blog quite frequently, but I always have this huge debate going on in my mind whether or not the topic I've decided on is of interest to anyone else. If I get locked on to a particular theme for a number of blog postings I try and break them up and put other things in between.
But yeah... it is that huge debate! Nearly always, the Post does get written -- I don't let the debate paralyse me but it is annoying and energy consuming to say the least.

My biggest challenge is to make an appealing post. Therefore I keep improving my writing structure, language, style and basic things like grammar and spelling. I also attempt to involve the readers on every post.

Well my biggest challenge is finding a suitable template that looks appealing for what I do. If you look at mine, it is unattractive...The second challenge is I have is the time involved in searching endlessly to learn where to find the resources and once found how to load things like videos or podcast onto the blog.

Making my blog pay.
Sometimes, I think I need Tom Cruise and the IMF crew. However, a more practical approach would be yet another Vulcan Mind Meld with the my intended customer.
So until I get a few more lessons from Mr. Spock, I'll continue making the best guesses I can and visit here now and then.

Patsi and Denise
My biggest challenge is processing information. I've attended several online classes re blogs, internet marketing, auto responder, blog platforms, social marketing. There's so much stuff to sort through, to figure out what's a priority. My challenge is staying in control in technology and becoming a greater organizer of resources of people and time and energy and money.

1. Not catching silly typo errors and
2. Not having time to write as much as I want

Hi Denise,
Great question. My biggest challenge is finding time to focus on my blog. See, I'm a professional copywriter and I actually help clients with their blogs. So, it's kind of a catch 22 for me. I do have regular postings but need to step it up on my own blog.
