6 hrs of active blogging.

Ideas will be always going on in my mind, I would jot down whenever I get 'something to blog'. I sit on a Saturday morning to write and schedule for the next week.

Oooh no. I'm one of those people you were talking about with the three biggest obstacles. I think I suffer from all three, *wry grimace* procrastination, perfectionism, and fear of rejection.

I have been avoiding beginning a business blog, even though I KNOW I need one. I had started one in 2003 or 2004, when they first appeared, and it quickly petered out. I think my biggest hurdle has been getting over the "who would want to listen to me when I'm on my soapbox?"

*deep breath* So... I haven't been spending any time blogging. And now I take my quaking self off to create one, Right Now! Wish me luck, and Thank you for your help!!

I dedicate 8 hours per week to blogging. About 3 hours of that time is spent reading and posting on other blogs. It's definitely a commitment.

Great question - never really thought about it before.

I just created my blog nearly two weeks ago - I'd say I've been dedicating 10+ hours/week and it's been a very rewarding experience.

Reeva

I am new to blogging so probably 20 min a day.. i'm loving it though :)

Anne

Way more time than I'd like. When I was posting 3x a week, it was six hours. After that, it was very hard to go to other people's blogs and think of anything relevant to say. So yes, I generally violate the rule of commenting on other people's blogs. Now I'm cutting corners by posting 2x a week so I can focus on income-generating activities.
The best posts are ones where I just link to some funny YouTube video, mostly because it doesn't require any time. Any tips on making blogging in general more fun, but still valuable to the reader?

Typically 4-5 hours depending on what health issues are in the news and if the AMA or pharmaceutical industry is upsetting me or not.

Rosalind Joffe

I typically spend about 1.5 hours writing my blogs and between 1-2 hours on other blogs. And, about 1 hour /week learning about blogging (reading your stuff, listening to your cd's. Seems like too much to me, when I think of it, considering I've a ways to go before it becomes any type of revenue source. But it's fun and investment (and I just spent more time than necessary writing more info than you'd asked for - the danger of blogging!) Rosalind
