Last month it was the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. This past weekend it was the Publishers and Writers of San Diego. The desire to know more about blogs and how they can support an author's need to build a platform and get more exposure for their book, is great.
We had the pleasure of speaking to an amazing group of writers at the invitation of Paulette Ensign and Andrew Chapman (see below).
Paulette, who will be a guest on Blogging and Beyond in a couple of weeks, sent us this follow up note: 
"Your presentation today was excellent, as I knew it would be from hearing you at previous conference and teleclass events, and reading your blogs! Thanks so much for sharing your expertise with the Publishers and Writers of San Diego. I've already received emails from some of our members who are overflowing with ideas, enthusiasm, and eagerness to get their blogs going as a direct result of what you introduced to our group. Thanks again for your time and talent."
We've also heard from a couple of people who attended that they set up their blogs over the weekend! That's what we love to hear.
