Ezines may in some ways be 'old school' Internet marketing: a standard tool not to be skipped. (And you should be doing one correctly, so that it gets good results: see the All-in-One Ezine Publishing System for instructions.) Ezines are a fundamental tool for doing business online.
And there are some new cool video tools coming down the road. My own hubby is making video blogs for his company, and I've got my eye on his new Sony camera. Stay tuned for a little video clipping from the Blog Squad sisters. (We've already been featured on YouTube as Saturn test drivers! )
In the meantime, Brian Clark of Copyblogger is getting in the swimming pool. Take a look at what he calls a series of video "Tubetorials." Brian recently announced that after sharing profusely about online writing for your blog, he will now turn to the issue of making money on your blog (Go, Brian!). See his post on "7 Steps to Creating and Selling a Niche Information Product."
Even the comments are interesting on the Copyblogger post. Videos become incredibly viral when they are stupid and funny, as fans of YouTube will prove. But the art of making a video clip that has a business message, educates AND becomes viral is something that no one has yet mastered. As one commenter says, education usually takes second place to stupid.
What do you think? Seen any good video clips lately?
