I was doing some research on keyword research tools, inspired by our Conversation with Lee Odden last week. I needed to write an Action Step for our Savvy eBiz Tips ezine and wanted to feature this tactic. I stumbled on an excellent blog post on Marketing Tom.com that lists quite a few of these tools. Check out the article.
The idea is that you use the keyword research tools to build a glossary of keywords that relate to the subject, or niche, or your blog. Having a list like this can assist you when writing posts: in deciding on the post title and staying focused on your subject.
I've been playing with the Google AdWords Keyword tool (you have to have an AdWords account to access this tool) and created a short video on how to use it. Be nice to me on this...it's my second feeble attempt at creating an online screencast and far from perfect!

Ok - looks like the first post went into never never land (unless two show up here).
Thanks so much* for the direction to Marketing Tom.com. Between his blog (expanding) and your Build a Better Blog book (building), I think I finally have everything I need! Keep up the great work!
