Yesterday Patsi and I presented with Debbie Weil about why Every Book Needs a Blog at the Publishers Marketing Association University. We had a good crowd and lots of great questions about blogs and how and why to use one. Unfortunately we were so caught up in the moment that I forgot to get a picture of The Blog Squad with Debbie.
The audience for this conference is authors and small publishing companies. This event precedes the huge Book Expo America which begins on Friday.
There seems to be a general knowledge that blogs exist, that they are hot and authors are wondering about how they can use the medium to support their books.
Later today we present again with our pal Suzanne Falter-Barns of Get Known Now about Automatic Marketing Systems for your Book. Again, we'll be touting the benefits of using a blog to become more findable on the Internet and as a way of building an audience for one's book. I'll try to remember to get pictures today!
