Blog Traffic: Getting Readers to Your Blog

Always glad to see when someone has published one of our blogging articles on their site.  Today, I was alerted that our article 16 Ways to Drive Traffic to Your Blog has been published on ProfitPuzzle.com.  Unfortunately, it's an old version of the article and we've updated it since it was first written over a year ago.  Specifically the following points:

1. Set up a Bloglet subscription form on your blog and invite everyone in your network to subscribe: family, friends, colleagues, clients, associates.

The intent remains the same, but we no longer recommend Bloglet as it became totally unreliable and it seems there was no one home when support was requested.  Our blog email update provider of choice is Feedblitz.com.  The owner, Phil, gives terrific service, support, and is constantly updating the service to provide more and better features. I have created a tutorial for setting up Feedblitz if you need it.

4. Use Ping-0-matic to ping blog directories. Do this every time you publish. http://www.pingomatic.com

In addition to Ping-o-matic, we recommend Pingoat.com where you can ping many more blog directories and search engines.
