Well, there's something for everyone on the 'Net. My question would be what else could you do with your old blogs? Maybe update them, post on them, and optimize them for traffic. I suppose if your career or biz was taking a turn, and you wanted to focus on a different niche, you might want to do some cleaning out of marketing areas no longer needed.
Michael Pollock did this when he sold his Small Business Branding blog to Yaro Starak. Smart thing to do, what do you think? Got any blogs you'd like to get rid of?
This may tie in with the discussion thread in the media recently. Some journalists say that many people who jumped on the blog wagon are not seeing the big numbers they wanted and are now jumping off.
We'd like to hear from you if you are thinking about abandoning your blog, tell us why. Think about optimizing it first, giving it CPR, maybe. Then if it isn't going to work for you, consider selling it to someone who would love it and give it a decent home.
