Outbound Links: Why do them?

Following my last post, here is another good post on Naked Conversations about why it is so important to include outbound links in your blog posts.  If you're a blogging newbie, read it.  If you're a blogging veteran, you probably already know that outbound links help drive traffic to your blog.

Thanks, Denise, this is a great post on the whole social networking idea behind trackbacks and linking that has made the blogosphere and bloggers so connected. I'll never forget the day that blogging diva Debbie Weil left a comment on my blog that was barely a month old. I couldn't figure out how she (or anybody for that matter) found my little post. But the blog software is designed communications and it works, when blog authors use it. Unfortunately, many professionals haven't learned to use trackbacks, forget to link, and don't realize their worth.
